Today
in my hour-in-traffic drive to my next client
I was listening to a random praise set.
The song was called ‘Great Is Your Faithfulness’,
and during the instrumental of the song,
I thought to myself, “Oh man, if ‘Never Once’ was mixed into this song, it’d be amazeballz.”
and then…
he started to sing the prechorus to Never Once.
and then….
I started to weep.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~
because… this was just another way the Lord wanted to communicate His heart to me. He is always so near, and I am so thankful.

I don’t think I can ever cut it.
I choose things that are so fleeting and short-lived.
I forget the answer-
justifying myself in failures and wretchedness.
I feel like I’m drowning- defeated; my heart is truly weak.
But there is a love that has and never will fail me.
This love will not leave me to walk alone-
This love doesn’t care if I think I can’t cut it- He doesn’t give up.
He takes me in, lifts my head, and gives me faith to run.
This love is more than enough for me.
